The Hermitage, Day 2

Day 2 at the Hermitage could not have been more different from Day 1. Across the square from the Winter Palace is the renovated General Staff Building, which mostly houses the Impressionist collection. Whereas Day 1 was opulent rooms, massive tour groups, and epic art, Day 2 was modern surroundings, solitude, and paintings focused mostly on small human moments. An incredible collection; I just took photos of the people, though.
